Marc De Ceuster (b. 1962) holds a PhD in Applied Economic Sciences (UFSIA) and a Bachelor’s degree in law (UIA). Since 2002, he has been Professor of Financial Economics at the University of Antwerp. He served as Academic Director at Antwerp Management School and is a former member of the General Council of Antwerp Management School. He is also a former member of the Arkea Direct Bank Supervisory Board. He also held a seat for six years on the Board of Directors of KBC Group on behalf of the Flemish Government.
On November 29, 2019 he was appointed as an independent director of Almancora Société de gestion SA and as Chairman of the Audit Committee. He was Chairman of the Board of Directors from November 26, 2021 to April 28, 2023.
Since May 4, 2023, he has been a member of the Board of Directors and Chairman of the Audit Committee of KBC Group.
Since May 18, 2023, he has been Managing Director of Cera Société de gestion and Almancora Société de gestion.
